If you love being outside, this could be just the place for you. There's many things to do nearby, from mountain biking and sailing, to wind-surfing, walking and fishing.

Cycling and Walking

If you enjoy cycling or walking, there are many VTT cycle routes including one that runs past the gites. For walkers we can offer you over 60 circular routes within the area. The walks range in difficulty and duration from 2 to 6 hours.  We are 10 minutes from the lake at Jugon Les Lacs. You can walk or cycle all the way round the lake and there are numerous walks/ cycle routes through the surrounding hills and woodland. The GR34 coastal footpath is a stunning long distance path which follows the edge of the sea for 2000km from Mont St Michel round to Port-Navalo in the Golfe De Morbihan. For keen walkers or cyclists, we can offer a 'taxi' service whereby you can drive to your start point for the day and we can pick you up from your finish point and take you back to your vehicle. We also offer start and finish drop & collect if required for those who enjoy point to point walking & cycling

Inland within 20 minutes of the gites there are in excess of 30 fishing spots ranging across fly, roach and real. The coast line offers every kind of fishing whether beach casting, dipping off the rocks or sea fishing.

The stream that borders our land contains trout and is very popular with fisherman. Full day or half day tickets are available from the Tabac in the village. At the Lake at Jugon, you can buy day tickets for fishing from La Maison de Peche at the side of the lake. there are many streams, rivers and lakes as well as sea fishing all within easy reach.

Some of the beaches are good for surfing or body-boarding and many of the vast expanses of sand are popular with sand yachts. Kite Surfing, windsurfing and sea kayaking are also very popular. You can hire kayaks on several of the beaches, the lake at Jugon or on the river at Dinan

Offshore and Inshore sailing are available locally. The Lake at Jugon has rowing boats, 'pedalos' and  an excellent sailing school /sailing boat hire facility . You can hire boats by the hour, half or full day.  Many of the beaches have sailing schools/hire for boats or windsurfers and public slipways.
