For Children We have three children of our own and so have first hand experience of the facilities we would have liked to have at various holiday locations we have been to. Our aim has always been to provide an ideal holiday location if you are booking with children as we believe that if the children are happy and occupied, then the adults are more able to relax and enjoy their holiday too.

| For groups or adults booking without children, don't worry! We have been careful to design our children's play areas far enough away from the gites so as not to disturb your peace! |

Play areas (Outdoor & indoor)
There is an outdoor play area with slide, swings, tree platform etc. We
have created a covered play area with a table tennis table, and sandpit
and a large indoor playroom with a TV/video, board games,
toys, books and artists materials for your budding Van Gogh. We have
various sit and ride toys. The gites are situated within 2.2 acres of
land bordered by a stream. 'Three boys, some wellies and a stream. How could this have been anything other than a successful holiday!' |

Swimming We have a large 8.8m x 4.5m outdoor heated pool, surrounded by an enclosed sun terrace. The pool complies with all safety regulations and has a fence around to prevent unsupervised access. Please note, children must never be left in the pool area without adult supervision. Our pool is open from the beginning of May to the end September. There is also an open air swimming pool at the side of the lake at Jugon with waterslides etc that is open to the public from April to September.

Cycling & Buggies There will be children's bikes available. There are numerous routes along the quiet lanes and bridleways from the house. Baby listening service For a small charge, we can offer a baby sitting service should you wish to enjoy a meal out in the evening without the children.

Animals There are some small animals including goats, which the children can pet/feed or help with should they wish. 'I loved the goats. The swimming pool is great. Had a fun time .'' ''The children didn't want to leave. They will particularly miss .......the goats!''

Within a 10 minute
drive is the lake at Jugon Les Lac. Here you can walk, cycle, swim,
fish, hire a boat or sail. There are two ‘fun parks’ within travelling
distance with rides for the children, boating lakes, a water park,
horse riding, go karts, quad bikes etc.
For a fantastic indoor venue, there is the Grand Aquarium, St Malo ,
where
you can ride in a 'submarine', see the 360 degree display of shark and
stroke the Ray fish. Nearby is La Bourbansais Zoo. Set in the grounds of a chateau, there is a little train, a maze, a play area with bouncy castles and demonstrations of Falconry plus shows 3 times a day demonstrating the spectacle of the hunt on horseback with hounds following. In St Brieuc , there is also a big indoor Water park, 'Aquabaie' with slides, children’s pools, sauna etc.

Within 30-40 minutes is the beautiful coastline of the Cotes d’Armor with numerous fantastic beaches to choose from. They range from small coves to wide expanses of sand. Some beaches are great for surfing/body boarding and others are more sheltered and calm and ideal for toddlers to paddle or swim. |
