The Gites

Each gite has it’s own private south facing sun terrace so you can enjoy an ‘Alfresco’ breakfast or savour a good bottle of red wine and a selection of local cheese, whilst watching the sun go down!

It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full size gas cooker, electric kettle/toaster, microwave. You also have a washing machine and clothes airer in a separate utility area.

There is a shower room and toilet/sink upstairs and a toilet/sink downstairs. and an open plan dining/living room with a large oak dining table that will seat 6. There is a comfortable sitting area with open log fire, television with some English channels and a video player with a good selection of children’s videos.

Gite 2 (Le Poulain)

 Sleeping up to 4 +baby in 2 double bedrooms Bedroom one has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has two singles.  It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full size cooker, electric kettle/toaster, and microwave. There is a washing machine for your use and clothes airers available separately in a utility room off the communal playroom. There is an open plan dining/living room with a large pitch pine dining table that will seat 7 or more and a comfortable sitting area. There is a television with some English channels and a dvd player.

This gite has the option of interconnecting with Gite 3, making them both ideal for 2 or 3 families holidaying together, or large family groups, sleeping a total between them of 13.

Gite 3 (La Chevrette)

 Sleeping up to 8 +baby in 3 double bedrooms. Bedroom one has a Kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 is enormous, and has two bunkbeds. This bedroom interconnects with the third bedroom via a Jack and Jill bathroom. Bedroom 3 has another 2 singles which can be a double king size if required.

It has a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, with dishwasher, range size cooker, electric kettle/toaster, and microwave. There is a washing machine for your use and clothes airers available separately in a utility room off the communal playroom. There is a very large living room with a  comfortable sitting area, log burning stove and patio doors that open out onto your own private terrace with outdoor tables and chairs. There is a television with some English channels and a dvd player.

This gite has the option of letting just bedroom 1 and 2, sleeping 6 people + baby, for a reduced price. It can also interconnect with Gite 2 if you wish to book as two or three families together or a large family group. The two gites combined can sleep up to 12 people.

Extra Services Available

We offer a baby sitting service (at a charge of 15 euros per hour per gite) should the adults wish to have a night out.

We provide some complimentary items for you when you first arrive so that you do not have to rush off to find a supermarket straight away: e.g. croissants,  butter, tea and a bottle of wine. We can also supply a starter selection of groceries for your arrival. Just let us know what you would like and we will get it for you. We will charge you at cost plus a fee of 5 euros.

A towel pack (2 bath towels ) is available for a charge of 5 euros.

Childrens Bicycles may be used, subject to availability.

We can provide a ready prepared evening meal, a BBQ pack, or  children's' tea with 24 hours notice. All meals are home cooked and we can offer a choice of 4 or 5 dishes such as, Lasagne, Raclette, Boeuf Bourguignon, or a Tartiflette (potatoes cooked in cream, with bacon, shallots and mountain cheese). Main courses are charged at 12 euros per head for adults and 8 euros per child. French patisserie desserts at an additional 4 euros per head. (3 euros per child)

Equipment & Accessories

Our luxury, centrally heated gites, come fully equipped with dishwashers, washing machines, microwaves, hairdryers and TV’s/videos. All bedding is included. There is a fenced, heated outdoor swimming pool and raised sun terrace with superb views over the valley.

All gites benefit from full central heating making them suitable for year round rental.

There is outdoor garden furniture for all the gites and each has it’s own private south facing sun terrace, but in addition you have access to over 2 acres of fields and orchard bordered by a stream. All areas are sympathetically fenced to give you peace of mind that 'little ones' can not wander. The lane to the Gites is a no through road allowing for the children to experience a great degree of freedom.

There are BBQ's for each gite,  large indoor play rooms with table tennis, sandpit, computer games, TV with videos, games, toys, books. There is a large outdoor play area with swings, slide, tree house, zip wire etc. We have a selection of bicycles so you can explore the lanes and bridleways straight from the house. There is a VTT cycle route that passes by the gites.

All bedding is included. Towels are available at extra cost.

If you are booking with a baby, we have a travel cot + bedding, high chair and baby bath that are available on request.
