Terms & Conditions

When booking and partaking in a holiday with Friendly Gites at Le Pont Boscher I understand that: -

1. Bookings can only be affected by returning the booking form accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total rent due. The remainder is payable 8 weeks prior to my/our arrival. (Please check availability before completing the booking form).
2. In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks before my start date you will render me/us liable for the total booking amount. (We do advise that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance as a safeguard).
3. In the event of cancellation after the payment of deposit but before the 8 weeks to booking start date will result in full loss of my/our deposit.
4. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse any booking or to cancel any bookings already made subject to refunding any sums I/we have paid without further liability on their behalf.
5. The proprietors reserve the right to terminate my/our stay if I/we or members of our party are believed to be causing a nuisance to the other guests or are not treating the property with due respect.
6. That a surety of £100 is required; this will be returned to me/us within 14 days of the end of the holiday, less any cost of extra cleaning, rectifying losses, breakages or damage caused by any member of my party during our term of occupancy.
7. I/we are to leave the gite and contents clean and tidy on vacation & that costs will be deducted from surety if the gite is left in an unacceptable state and requires additional cleaning.
8. I will be charged for any items missing from the gite.
9. Neither Friendly Gites nor any persons in their employ will be liable for any loss, damage, sickness or injury howsoever caused which may be sustained by me, or any member of my party, or any person who I might invite to the gite and grounds of their property during the period booked.
10. All facilities at Le Pont Boscher are for the use of guests and the proprietors only.
11. Bookings are from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10.30am on the day of departure.
12. The proprietors reserve the right to enter the property during my/our stay.
13. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the gites and games rooms.
14. I/we agree to abide by all rules regarding pool safety (see “Swimming Pool Rules” below) and will make sure that all my children are aware of them. All use of the swimming pool will be ended if children under my guardianship do not appear to be properly supervised at all times. Children must not enter the pool area unless accompanied by an adult. No person, whatever his or her age should at anytime swim unaccompanied.
15. The proprietors reserve the right to cancel any booking if it subsequently transpires that the above-mentioned conditions have not been observed.
16. That I/we are responsible for the safety of all children under our guardianship when they are using any of the equipment or facilities at Le Pont Boscher.

I undertake to ensure that all members of my party are aware and comply with these conditions.
 


Swimming Pool Rules
- Important Notice for Parents with Children under 16 years
You will be aware of the dangers inherent in swimming pools and therefore will also appreciate the need for rules and safety procedures which must be followed and enforced at all times. These rules are subject to regulation by the relevant authorities and we may be prosecuted should they be contravened.

Please read the following very carefully and make sure that your children are aware of them. Some of them apply to Adults too!! We will unfortunately have to end all use of the swimming pool if your children do not appear to be properly supervised at all times.
